Hi, my name is Bernd N. Wuertz, I compose and design sound for films and moving images as well as writing and producing music for myself and occasionally for others too.

I’d love to bring my sound and experience to your film or project and help make it the best it can possibly be.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with many inspiring artists and musicians, including Marc Teitler, Peter Challis, Ayu Okakita, VOOV and Sayoko Paris (Dosage).

I’ve also had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of film projects with directors such as Dante Ariola, Yves Geleyn, Alexander Herzog, Peter Dörfler and Luc Besson.

My soundtrack credits include numerous shorts, documentaries, sound installations and acclaimed global campaigns.

Over the years I've been working on a series of experimental music works under the moniker hÄK.

In 2019 I co-founded the duo hÄK / Danzeisen with Philipp Danzeisen on drums and myself on electronics and modular synth.

I am currently living and working in Berlin.
